Yakiniku means “grilled meat.” Every Japanese Yakiniku restaurant has its own barbecue dipping sauce: yakiniku no tare.

A special blend of onion, apple and sansho (Japanese pepper) combined with authentic soy sauce and mirin. This is a unique oil-free Yakiniku sauce. Perfect for accompanying grilled meats, grilled seafood and vegetables.

Producer

The company Shibanuma has a long history in the production of soy sauces. Shibanuma was founded in 1688 (Edo period) in the provincy of Ibaraki (north of Tokyo). The current president, Mr. Shibanuma, is the 18th generation of Shibanuma since the company was founded.

Shibanuma maintains traditional methods for producing its soy sauce. In particular, they use wooden barrels, some of which date back to the Meiji era (late 19th century). This ensures a unique taste and quality.
