Shiso Leaves Purple are often dipped in special tempura batter and deep-fried. Beautiful and delicious! A variation of this is simply deep-frying them as decoration.
Shiso Leaves can also be combined with game, mushrooms or various types of fish. The leaves have a powerful, spicy flavor. This gives, especially in autumn, a real autumn leaf to decorate a game dish, for example.
Shiso Leaves are available year-round.
