Syrha Leaves adds a fresh acidic accent to salads, soups, fish dishes and game.
Syrha Leaves come into their own in fruit salads, combined with red fruit, white chocolate or even cilantro. The flavor comes from natural oxalic and ascorbic acid.
Syrha Leaves are the blue-green leaves with a silvery glow, of a plant already prized by the Egyptians and Greeks and related to rhubarb. It is fairly common throughout Europe. Fatty dishes in particular, due to the fat emulsifying power of this plant, become more digestible. Oxalic acid is found in potatoes and rhubarb, and ascorbic acid is better known as vitamin C.
Syrha Leaves are available year-round.
