Cooking wine and mirin

Although this sake is called a ‘ryorizake’ (cooking sake), it is of much higher quality. It is a Junmai sake, 100% pure, with no added alcohol, sugar or salt. The high content of amino acids provides extra umami, enhancing the taste of food. Also very drinkable.

3 Years Aged. Made traditionally using only sticky rice, koji rice and shōchū. Very high in umami. Syrupy texture and intense caramelized flavor. A small amount of this mirin is enough to enrich a dish or dressing. Also delicious as a sweet digestif or as an ingredient in desserts.
