Description
This Japanese-made fan (uchiwa) is produced by applying Kakishibu varnish (derived from tannins of unripened and fermented persimmon) to Japanese paper spread over a skeleton of bamboo. This traditional fan is a perfect tool for any charcoal grill and is traditionally used in every yakitori bar.
Protective varnish layers prevent charcoal sparks from burning the paper, and the flexible bamboo skeleton provides a flexible fan and maximum airflow.
