Japanese aged sake - 100% pure rice wine
Brewed just one time in 1997. Bitter-sweet kijōshu (port-like sake) with deep caramel taste. Use as aperitif, digestive or with any dessert. Drink at room temperature. Store dark.
Recommended with
Meat, as well as soy-sauce and miso seasoned and even spicy dishes.
Brewery
Nakano BC is a relatively new brewery, as it was established in 1961. Kinokuniya Bunzaemon is the main brand of the brewery. A new line of long-matured pure sake named Chōchōkyū was added in 2007. Showing the regional colour of Wakayama Prefecture, the brewery also produces many types of plum sake.
